How Gamma Made Proposals the Fastest Part of My Week
Instead of losing hours to formatting, I now turn raw notes into polished proposals with Gamma and keep deals moving.
A while back, I realized our proposal process was slowing us down more than I cared to admit.
We would leave a client call buzzing with ideas. The strategy was clear in my head, and I knew exactly what I wanted to say. But then came the part I dreaded, turning that vision into a clean, client-ready document.
It meant hours lost to formatting slides, tweaking margins, adjusting spacing, choosing fonts. All the energy from that client conversation started to drain away while I fought with layouts. By the time the proposal was ready, I felt like the momentum was gone.
One day, I decided to try Gamma I was not looking for another tool to add to the stack. I just wanted to see if it could help me get my ideas in front of clients faster without me playing designer.

Gamma converts unstructured content into sleek, interactive presentations with AI design, built-in media, analytics, and live collaboration.
The first time I used it, I typed my raw notes into Gamma exactly as they came to mind, bullet points, fragments, rough sentences. In less than a minute, I had a polished, branded presentation that looked like my design team had spent hours on it. The structure was clear, the visuals supported my points, and I had not touched a single text box.
That is when it clicked. The real value of Gamma was not just speed. It was that I could stay in strategy mode instead of switching into formatting mode.
How I Use Gamma in My Day-to-Day
Proposals that actually close deals
I focus on the story first, the client’s challenge, our solution, and the outcomes they can expect. I drop that into Gamma and it gives me a professional, on-brand deck without me ever touching a design setting.
Internal strategy decks in minutes
For quarterly reviews or product roadmaps, I use the same approach. I write the content, Gamma handles the presentation. It has cut our prep time by more than half and lets us spend meetings making decisions instead of waiting for slides to be finished.
Brand consistency without thinking about it
I set our brand colors, fonts, and logo once. Now, every single document, whether it is for a client or my team, looks consistent without me checking for formatting errors.
Live collaboration with zero version chaos
Instead of emailing PDFs back and forth, I send a Gamma link. My team edits in real time. Clients can comment directly in the deck. No more “final_v3_revised” files sitting in my inbox.
Insights that change the follow-up
The analytics are underrated. When I send a proposal, I can see where a client spent the most time. If they lingered on the budget page, I know what to address in my next call. If they skipped a section, I know it did not land and needs a different approach.
Why This Has Changed the Game for Me
Gamma has not replaced my creativity. It has given me the space to actually use it where it matters most.
Before Gamma, I would often find myself spending more time wrestling with formatting than refining the core message of a proposal. By the end of the process, I felt drained, and the final product, while polished, did not always capture the energy or clarity I had in the initial idea.
Now, that energy stays intact from the moment I leave a client conversation to the moment the proposal is in their inbox. Instead of pouring my focus into slide titles and spacing, I can invest it in telling a sharper story, anticipating client questions, and strengthening our offer.
The ripple effect has been huge. We are sending more proposals than before because the creation process no longer slows us down. Clients are getting our follow-ups faster, which means their excitement and interest from the initial call are still fresh when they review our recommendations. That speed and continuity have led to higher engagement, smoother negotiations, and ultimately, more closed deals.
And it is not just about efficiency. Removing the friction in how we present ideas has made the whole process more enjoyable for me and my team. There is a noticeable shift in how we approach client work with more confidence, more clarity, and less of the mental drain that comes from repetitive, low-value tasks.
For me, that is the real win. Gamma has made proposals not just faster, but better.
Where This Leaves Me
If you have ever felt like your best ideas lose steam in the process of making them presentable, it might be time to change the way you work. Gamma made proposals one of the fastest, most enjoyable parts of my week, and I do not say that lightly.
Try this on your next proposal. Write it like you would in an email, paste it into Gamma, and see how fast you can go from idea to something worth sending.
Until next Sunday,
Angelo
